Azzie Trembly: Art is a language. It's probably the oldest language on earth - communicating stories, ideas, beliefs and opinions. To many people it may seem like a foreign language, simply because they don't know that language. We can learn a lot about ancient cultures from the drawings and paintings that untrained artists put on walls. Unfortunately today most graffiti artist don't have much to say - they are just defacing property and breaking the law. Monty Sieloff: Each individuals personal perception creates art in the eye of the beholder,and since perception is different with everyone,so is art.
Rosella Figliola: In my opinion, art evokes an emotion or is intended to evoke an emotion. I think graffiti is art. The reason it's most often not considered art is because it's illegal... defacing someone else's property.
