whats the secret to great acting?

Dulcie Edis: Everyone has their own Techniques but I find method acting to be the best research you character then try to be that character all the time so you know how it feels when you perform it

Melissa Lavallie: Although I'm not sure if there's really a straightforward answer to that, I can give you some tips:- Research your character. Really get to know them. This will help you BECOME that character.- Make sure the audience knows your character's personality. Talk like them, walk like them, and just act like them! If you were playing an old woman, you wouldn't want to walk and talk like a young woman, would you?- Talk loudly and enunciate. In order for the audience to understand your personality, they have to be able to hear what you're saying. Even if your character is supposed to whisper, make sure your lines are understandable.- I know this is a cliche, but PLEASE: rehearse your lines and practice! And in the event that you forget your lines, DON'T just stan! d there and go "Uh....um...." Ad lib. Make up lines if you have to. Just make sure they're relevant to the scene.I hope this helps!
