August Hubbard: There is no such thing. Your insurance is a mathematical calculation ( which varies slightly company to company ) to determine what you pay. If you are paying a lot, it means your are a higher risk for the insurance company. That is that. Shopping around can save you a little, but there is no magical "cheap" way out.
Stanton Valdivia: Well, you could use Progressive. I am a 19 year old single male on my own insurance, and my car is a 93 Honda Civic Del Sol Si. The minimum insurance requires me to pay 80 dollars a month. Not joking one bit. I opted for some comprehensive coverage, and glass coverage, and got it up to 100 dollars a month. I couldn't believe it. It seemed too good to be true. I don't know about Progressive, but I know that a lot of insurance companies will give you a monthly discount if you take and pass a defensive driving course. Personally, it sounds like fun, and it drops your insurance, so why not? The only downfall is you have to ! have to pay for the class I would assume. Good luck mate....Show more
