Imogene Neiswander: sometimes dvd recorded on dvd camcorder seem to have problem in compatibility which mean when you send it to your hubby it might not be able to playback on his end.you can buy mini dvd and then transfer to your computer and burn on dvd as you said.that might be the best on compatibility.you can get one like that for under $200.good luck.
