Nikita Schroepfer: Is it possible? Yes. Is it likely? Not very. He's most likely not using any frequency higher than the 440 MHz range - that's 1/6 the frequency that wifi works at. Not very likely to cause any interaction either way. (If he's building his own transmitter at that frequency it's a little more likely but a) only a little more, which is still not very and b) it's highly unlikely that he is.)
Charissa Bichsel: Ham radio software will teach you all you need for your ham radio test. Mac is a great platform for ham radio software. Once you decide that you like the program and will continue to use it, and then you simply have to register it, and pay a very small fee.
