If the car doesn't have airbags for safety, can we fit them later?

Terrell Voltz: Not bloody likely. Such a system would require collision sensors, wiring, electronic signal filtering, integrated circuitry, explosives (yes, explosives), specialized steering mechanism, etc.

Idell Syed: Next to the impossible,actually not practical.If done,the cost of the system will exceed the cost of what you paid for the car.Not only the air bags alone,but computer,sensors,wiring harness,dash board,steering column.
