Matt Tiry: I had a landscaping business for ten years and there really is no ballpark figure. Each job is different, each client has different requirements. I have done jobs different ways depending on the client. A turn key job is where I take care of every thing from site preparation, installation, labor, plants, all other material and cleanup. I always discuss the plant selection with the clients showing them photos of my recommendations and getting their input. When I provided the plants a plant warranty was included on shrubs and trees. I no longer do turn key landscaping but I do what I call sweat equity plans. I provide detail! drawings with an explicit, detailed list of material and recommendation on where to get the best price on material. The client provides the sweat.
