Is lyme disease in children treated successfully if stat?

Charlotte Bryar: i might cope with it now because of the fact the attempt nonetheless won't arise effective even in 4 weeks. be sure you reside on the antibiotics for some weeks--do no longer keep on with the stupid CDC's regulations they do no longer know something. it variety of looks like your surgeon is familiar with that although. So yea, get on antibiotics ASAP.

Javier Holsonback: I am dealing with the same thing right now. My 8 year old was just diagnosed and he is 21 days of amox. My pediatrician said he should be fine after this.

Hyman Coren: Good sources of info about Lyme disease:http://www.lymedisease.orghttp://www.canlyme.comhttp://www.lymenet.orghttp://www.lymeinfo.nethttp://www.lymediseaseassociation.orghttp://www.ilads.orghttp://www.betterhealthguy.comhttp://www.publichealthalert.comhttp://www.freewebs.com/teenswithlymehttp://www.lymetimes.orghttp://www.mentalhealthandillness.com/lymeArticles......Show more

Dick Baumgarten: The quicker an! yone gets treatment the better chance they have at not getting persistent lyme disease. However 1 course of antibiotics often does not do the trick. I would be looking for an ILADS doctor if the standard treatment does not work completely.
