Does anyone know of any cheap preschools???

Lonnie Jehle: Have you thought about a cooperative preschool? I highly recommend them because parents play an active role in their child's early education. Parents make decisions about who to hire, the curriculum, field trips, and just about everything else. They tend to be less expensive than regular preschools. I did a quick search and I see there is one in your area....you might want to check it out. We only looked at cooperative preschools because we agree with the philosophy of parents participating in the school. We were happy to learn that it was cheaper too! Good luck...Show more

Cortez Badolato: Thanks everybody...no my school dist. is walled lake...i do not qualify for aid because of my income :-( preschool should be manditory and free!!! they all deserve a right to go to school LOL!!!!

Marhta Teahan: Check with social services. They'll evaluate your current income to see if they can put you in a more affordable school or maybe help pay for ! the cost of the current school (voucher, program for parents). Also look into Head Start programs. Is your school district abbott? Or you live in the inner city? There may be free preschool programs already in your town. Check with your local school board or county dept of early childhood education....Show more

Raleigh Lufkin: Check local high schools -- some run a preschool as part of an early childhood class. It will be run by high schoolers with a head teacher present, but the cost should be much lower than traditional preschool.

Rick Duchane: What part of Michigan are you in? I've lived throughout the state, maybe I can help...EDIT: Okay, I haven't lived near there (I've done Marquette, Jackson, Traverse City, and currently Lansing). Try local neighborhood preschools. He might be able to get a "scholarship", which is financial aid.

Andrew Sinatra: I live in the novi/detroit area
