financial aid problems?!!!?

Adam Momaya: Out of state tuition is high. You will only be eligible for a certain set amount of Federal & State financial aid for your academic year. Contrary to popular belief, financial aid is not a well where students can keep dipping out funds as long as they need them - there are yearly and lifetime limits on all aid to students. The financial aid you would get would be dependent upon your EFC number on your Student Aid Report through the FAFSA form. All of the grants and loans first pay out to the school to cover your tuition, fees, and books. Then, and only then, would you be able to get any of the funds to come directly to you for any living expense if there is anything left. If not, then you may possibly owe the school money. It all depends on how much tuition, fees, and books are (cost at your school) and how much aid you are deemed eligible for by the Department of Education (FAFSA)....Show more
