Jacques Vaquera: keep it simple.. what! i took was a tent, air mattressfirewood, lighter food clothes! me and my girlfriend camped sun- tues... sun it got real chilly felt like it was in the 30's

Raelene Cunnick: Lots of anti insect spray

Esteban Lyson: A mat or blow up mattress for underneath the sleeping bags. The ground hurts! Make sure you pack a small first aid kit, spare rope or twine; extra toiletries (toilet paper for the ladies), fire starter...for two days/nights the above plus your food and cleaning soap - toiletries - you should be all set. Have fun! I am so jealous - getting too cold here to camp!

Caterina Yeargan: Don't forget to bring matches, or better yet, a couple of candles and a lighter. Even if you have a camp stove for cooking, you'll probably want at least the option of building a campfire. If you get chilled, you may even need a fire for survival. I would suggest bringing a decent amount of some kind of dry tinder (like newspaper--wax paper is even better, because it will light even when wet) in a large zip-lock bag, and fin! d out if you will be able to obtain kindlling and fuel at the campsite. (Nowadays, many places don't permit you to gather firewood, because they get so many campers there would soon be no forest.) You may be able to bring firewood from home, but CHECK FIRST because some states and counties are under quarantine due to emerald ash borer, a beetle that has become a terrible pest. You may have to buy firewood near the campground. You can always add more stuff to make it more and more comfy, but if you have the supplies you mentioned, plus fire supplies, plus a first aid kit, you should be fine. A deck of card might be a good idea for entertainment.Have fun!...Show more

Dwight Siniard: Bring sleeping pads and a tarp to put under your sleeping bags, extra socks and raincoats, matches and some stuff to do when you're bored, like cards. Pack long johns and rain gear just in case. Have fun!
