Ginny Trickett: well I am also someone that would love to teach in Japan one day as an English teacher and well it depends on the course that you wish to teach. Although I live in Canada I believe it to be about the same procedure as it would be for me. First you have to earn a degree. An American friend told me you can have any possible degree to become an English teacher but I suppose it depends on the course you wish to teach more. The link I have provided is very useful and is very well-known for the program and is very useful and even my Japanese teacher had recommended it to me. Hope you find this useful ^^...Show more
Asley Quickle: i know a guy from Japan that is getting his teaching degree here and then going back to Japan to teach. i think it is relatively simple to get a job teaching overseas. japan even has some program where that let american teachers visit for 3 weeks to see their educational system. thiss link should give you the info you need.
! Elinore Schlinker: i know that my Vice Principal, he went to Japan as Principal. and he's gonna get less $$$ than here in Canada. but i think he did right choice to get an different experience in total different surroundings.
